Had a good experience at the interview. The interviewer was polite, didnt ask too many questions, mostly on updates like if i had any new criminal reports( which i dont), and if i was married or have kids since my application was submitted. We went through my I-485 and at the end i signed the form, then he stated that my AOS application was approved and that my card would be mailed in 15-20 days.

30 min interview. We were not separated. Mostly just confirming answers and info already supplied with application.

Overall a great experience!
---December 21, 2020---Our appointment was scheduled for 9:05AM, we arrived 30mins early and went through quick airport style check-in. We then walked upstairs > checked in > got a number and waited. The officer called us in at about 9:30. It was a short interview, he walked through the the application and talked to my husband (USC) 80% more than me.
Questions--
1. How we met? Where?
2. First date.
3. Our last 2 addresses.
4. My 1st child and citizenship of my ex
(did not ask for custody papers though).
5. Why is the child not in the US?
Went through the "YES/NO" on the I-485 and that honestly took the most time. We left at 10:30AM so it actually took a whole hour! IO checked the originals, changed our address to the correct one, scanned our Social Security Cards and took some additional evidence (3 work insurance documents) & 5-10 pictures from me. My spouse was very nervous and mixed up addresses & zipcodes, but the officer did not seem put off by it. Finally, the IO told us how to apply for the i-751 and ushered us out the door. He never actually said the words "You Are Approved!" but we gathered that from telling us about the i751 and giving some filing tips. We were approved in the system the next day and the card arrived roughly 8-10 days after.
